PP Becky Lingad, the incumbent teasurer of RC Cerritos of California, USA, RCMBA's sister club, was thespecial guest during club assembly last Jan. 8, 2008. She donated a total of US$ 1,100 to support RCMBA's feeding projects. |

Gawad Kalinga Recognition (Pasasalamat) to Rotary

RCMBA, together with other clubs in District 3830, was recognized by Gawad Kalinga headed by Tony Meloto.
The club has been active with the foundation since 2004 when PDG Jun Cortes signed the partnership with GK.
RCMBA adopted 3 GK communities as its RCC where it undertake community service such as literacy, livelihood,
health , shelter and youth development. |

RCMBA Tsinelas Patrol (Worm Prevention)
and Feeding Program (Health and Hunger Program)
RCMBA distributed 100 slippers and bread to children of Sibol School and Gawad Kalinga Welfareville last Saturday, August 25, 2007 at RCC Welfareville. The event was attended by CP Sonie, PP Rachel, PP Charo, Pres. Rico, Sec. Tanya, Rtn. Caron Demars and Rtn. Noi Alunan, who is also the coordinator for GK.
A short talk was given by the Welfareville community health doctor to advise and educate parents on children's proper care and cleanlines to prevent sickness due to worms by having them wear slippers, specially outside their homes. |
