RCMBA ATTENDS 9-CLUB JOINT MEET

Contrary to common beliefs, Friday the 13th proved lucky to Pres. Robbie Bonoan of RC Makati Bel-Air for the club was honored to participate the joint meeting of 9 Rotary clubs and be a party to the signing of a joint Matched Club Agreement on the same day.

The joint meeting was held over lunch on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Ristorante Ambasciatta D' Abruzzo in Makati City in celebration of the Membership and Extension Month of August. It was organized by RC Makati Urdaneta led by Pres. Butch Solomon, and was attended by the respective presidents and members of D3830 RCs Makati Bel-Air, Las Pinas North, Makati Pasong Tamo, Makati San Antonio, Makati Urdaneta, Palanyag Parañaque and Parañaque Metro South, including RC Metro San Pedro from D3820 (Southern Tagalog and Bicol Region).
The club presidents served as guest speakers with membership growth and development as their main topic. The 9 clubs signed a Joint Matched Club Agreement to emphasize their strong commitments as active partners in Rotary fellowship and service. The meeting was graced by the presence of DG Ed Alvarez and DGN Sue Sta. Maria who inspired the Rotarians as they always do. |
