RCMBA DONATES MEDICINES, CASH October 29, 2010, Makati City
Medicine Donation to Welfareville Panatag Health Center The Rotary Club of Makati Bel-Air (RCMBA), in partnership with the Rotary Club of Makati Buendia, through President Manuel David, donated medicines to the Panatag Health Center in Welfareville in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong last October 29, 2010. Welfareville, a depressed community adopted by RCMBA. The medicines were turned over to the Panatag Health Center and received by its dedicated head, Dr. Shari Sabalvaro. The donation is the second batch of various adult medicines courtesy of Glaxo Smith Kline through the coordination efforts by RC Makati Buendia.



RCMBA's Rotarian Dyttas Marquez Donates P5,000 to TKC Rtn. Dyttas Donates P5K to KCFI Oct. 29, 2010 Rtn. Dyttas Marquez, through the Rotary Club of Makati Bel Air, donated P5,000 to The Knowledge Channel, a non-profit foundation of the Lopez Group, which aims to bring education closer to the Filipino youth, particularly those at remote areas, by by providing free satellite or cable TV to public schools. Last September 28, Ms. Doris Nuval, the Director for Resource Mobilization and Channel Operations of the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI), was RCMBA's guest speaker and spoke on the "Role of Educational TV in Improving Literacy among the Poor in Society."
