RCMBA JOINS AMWSLAI MED MISSION

RCMBA joined hands with the Air Materiel Wing Savings and Loan Association (AMWSLAI) in the holding of the medical mission at Barangay 183 in Villamor, Pasay City, last November 27, 2010. There were about 800 patients who benefited from the day-long activity.

This is the second time that RCMBA has joined AMWSLAI to provide free medical, dental, eyeglass prescription, x-ray, cardio and related services, including free medicines and vitamins to the Barangay 183 residents, who are mostly family members of retired air force personnel. The first time was during the RY 2008-2009 term of PP Yolly Abueg, who is also AMWSLAIs Vice President for Collection and has been instrumental in the participation of Rotary in AMWSLAI's Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
Pres. Robbie Bonoan and PP Yolly Abueg have invited the participation and support of Pres. Ronnie Legaspi and IPP Mike Macatangay of the Rotary Club of Makati McKinley for additional volunteers, and Pharex Health Corporation for medical supplies. |
