RCMBA HOLDS GOVERNOR'S VISIT
January 11, 2011, Basilio's Restaurant, Bonifacio Global City

It was time for RCMBA to showcase its project accomplishments during the Governor's Visit on January 11, 2011 at the club's home venue, Basilio's Restaurant in Bonifacio Global City. The visitng District Team was led by Governor Ed Alvarez and accompnied by Cluster 6 Assitant Governor Patti King, Deputy District Secretary Lilibeth De La Cruz and Deputy District Coordinating Chair for Rotary Image Bing Icamina. PP Dennis Decena, the Chair for the District Conference was also present to present the program and encourage attendance to the DISCON 2011 to be held on march 18-19, 2011.

Pres. Robbie gave a quick presentation of the RCMBA's projects, programs and activities from July to December 2010.
DG Ed, in his talk, commended Pres. Robbie and the RCMBA's outstanding accomplishments in the implementation of its service projects, very active participation in district-wide activities and successful lead hosting of major events such as the Youth Solo and Chorale Singing Competition (Nov. 14, 2010), RCC District Assembly (Dec. 4, 2010) and the District Christmas Party (Dec. 18, 2010), including other co-hosting activities.
DG Ed also praised the club for having 8 members as active district officers, led by CP Sonie Zamora as the chair for the District Christmas Party, PP Chochit tobias as DGR-Philippine Rotary magazine, PP Nenette Aseniero as Chair of Monthly Fellowship, PP harold Dacumos as Chair of rotary Community Corps, PP Rachel Ocampo as Deputy District Secretary, PP rico Ocampo as Chair of the Youth singing Competition, PP roland Zurbano as Chair of RCC Awards and Governor's Aide and Rotarian Danny palma as Chair of E-Madia and District Webmaster.
In closing, DG Ed advised the club to be more active in the recruitment of new members stating that membership size is critical in the long term success of a Rotary club.
