RCMBA  CLUB DIRECTIONS
FOR THE ROTARY YEAR 2007-2008

     
 

 

OBJECTIVES

  • Emphasis on Membership Recruitment, Development and Retention
  • Service Projects
  • Club Funding
  • Active Club Meeting
  • All activities will be SAFE

STRATEGIES

I.  MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

  1. Recruitment
    1. All Members must try to bring in at least one new member during the year.
    2. Encourage new recruits to bring along a friend for possible membership
  1. Membership Retention
    1. Involvement of spouse in club activities (i.e. monthly fellowship for birthday celebrants, family activities, etc.)
    2. Joint Club meetings within the cluster or with sister clubs.
    3. Involvement of Rotaract in some of our club meetings.
  1. Membership Development
    Introduce Rotary Academy talks in club meetings for the benefit of new members and reorientation of existing members.

II.  SERVICE PROJECTS

  1. Continuation of existing projects: GK-related projects on housing, literacy, health and hunger
  2. Joint Service Projects with other clubs  to enhance club relations within the District, as well as joint projects with RCMBA sister clubs.
  3. Involvement of Rotaract in club projects.
  4. Sustain annual gift giving of Barangay. Olympia in Makati.
  5. Joint GK Project in partnership with Rotary Clubs in Orange County Los Angeles for the sponsorship of a GK Village.
III.  CLUB FUNDING

  1. Members’ support on fund raising projects, i.e., souvenir program, raffle tickets (of P2,500 per booklet to generate P100,000 for the club).   
  2. Revival of sister club relations with RC Wanchai for funding of projects.
  3. Funding of Literacy projects from sister club RC Bukit Bintang
  4. Funding of GK Welfareville Feeding and Literacy  Project from sister club RC Cerritos.
  5. PSP Funding from RC Makati Foundation
  6. Membership dues

IV.  CLUB ADMINISTRATION

  1. Club Meetings


    1. Club Assemblies will be time bounded: 
      • 7:00-8:00 PM: Arrival and Dinner
      • 8:00-9:30 PM: Meeting Proper
      • 9:30 PM: Adjournment

    1. Monthly Activity Schedules:
      • Week 1: Club Assembly
      • Week 2: Joint Meetings (w/ guest speaker)
      • Week 3: Project Site Visits (50% of total members to attend) or Classification Talk
      • Week 4: Fellowship
      • Week 5: Fellowship
  1. Membership Dues
  2. The settlement of the P 8,000 annual membership dues is payable at the following options:

    • Lump Sum Payment at start of RY: P 7,000
    • Monthly Payment of P1,250  for 6 mos.
    • Monthly Equal Payment of P1,000 w/ PDC for 8 months: P8,000
