Highlights:
It was a very fruitful evening starting with fellowship and dinner. Rtn Noi gave a short presentation on the GK project for the appreciation of our balikbayan guest, Carmelita O’Niel, hoping that this would elicit the support of her club, RC Granada Hills of Los Angeles.

PDG Jimmy’s talk on “How Rotary Has Affected Your Life” was not only very informative, but interactive, with him asking everyone (even the guests) on how Rotary has affected their lives.  He elaborated on the inputs, which strengthened  his points on how Rotary has made him a better person, particularly his 100% attendance for his 28 years or so in Rotary.

Visitng Rtn Carmelita shared some insights about her club RC Granada Hills, and that she was appointed club secretary  within one year from being inducted.  Her search for worthy projects that her club can support could very well be an answer to RCMBA’s need for help in carrying its projects for this year.  She also was full of praises on our club song which fits the thrust of RIPE DK Lee and suggested it be sang at the RI Convention.
