Tony Blair, once Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, observed that ”Society works by putting opportunity and responsibility together”

We as Rotarians have been blessed with the opportunity to serve and  to be in fellowship with men and women of varied interests, talents and resources in businesses, professions and civil society.  Thus, with these resources, plus a bit of dedicated time, we look forward to helping empower the less fortunate and underprivileged among our fellowmen, so that they themselves could finally overcome.

As a new club president, the responsibility to serve, and serve well, is a daunting challenge.  But, as I see my fellow travelers who are united in the spirit of service above self and brimming with warmth and affection for each other, I rediscover overwhelming confidence.  

I am, indeed, confident that my Rotary Club of Makati Bel-Air will endure and continue to triumph, building upon the solid achievements of its fourteen past presidents from fourteen years of exemplary service - while having a lot of fun along the way.

My club members and officers, to our beloved Governor Boyet Limon and his dedicated district officers, my Real Good President classmates and, in a special way, my company Chairman and President, Col. Ricardo L. Nolasco, Jr., who has been very supportive of my Rotary mission, I salute you.  I march with you!
